KOKRAJHAR: The Bongaigaon Electrical Circle of Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) in collaboration with the Chirang district administration is all set to organize the Ujjwal Bharat Ujjwal Bhavishya celebrations from July 28 to 29 in Chirang district as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Executive Officer of Bongaigaon Electrical Circle of APDCL has informed that the Ministry of Power and MNRE are organizing events to celebrate the collaboration between the State and the Central Governments and highlight the key achievements of the power sector for the last 8 years under the umbrella of Ujjwal Bharat Ujjwal Bhavishya – Power@2047. He added that Bongaigaon Electrical Circle of APDCL has decided to celebrate the Mahotsav at Bairajhora and Tangabari villages with various programmes on July 28 and July 29 respectively.
GAURISAGAR: Ministry of Power, Government of India in association with Charaideo district administration is going to celebrate Ujjwal Bharat, Ujjwal Bhavishya power@2047 on July 27 and July 30 at two different venues as part of the State-wide celebration. The first programme on July 27 will be held at the Sripur Rangamancha, Raibasti, Nimanagarh; while the second programme on July 30 will be held at Dhameswar Bayan Memorial Natmancha of No. 2 Khathia Khunda of Sunalipur village.
The programmes on both days will be graced by Member of Parliament, Jorhat HPC, Topon Kumar Gogoi as the chief guest. The programmes will also be graced by Rajya Sabha MP Kamakhya Prasad Tasa, Minister of Cultural Affairs and Guardian Minister of Charaideo district Bimal Borah, Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management Jogen Mohan as guests of honour.
