Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: Inter-school quiz contest conducted at Tinsukia

TINSUKIA: On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the Rotaract Club of Women's College Tinsukia organized an inter-school quiz competition on 'Indian Freedom Movement' at college auditorium on Wednesday.

Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Tinsukia RID 3240, as many as 13 schools from Tinsukia sadar participated in the competition. The Budding Buds Senior Secondary School bagged the first position while Buds Nursery School and Tinsukia Bangiya Vidyalaya HS School secured second and third positions respectively.

Among the guests present were Utpal Bordoloi, president Rotary Club of Tinsukia, Sailesh Sharma, president of the Association of Private School of Assam, Nilakshi Bhuyan, assistant commissioner, Tinsukia, Praveen Dhandaria, chairman Rotaract committee. The quizzer in the programme was Sujit Sonowal of the Political Science department of Women's College Tinsukia.
