Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav observed by NSS unit of Sibsagar Commerce College

SIVASAGAR: The NSS Unit of Sibsagar Commerce College conducted a lecture programme on 'Bujurgon ki Baat Desh ke Saath' related to celebration of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsaov commemorating 75 years of Independence of India.

The programme was presided over by Dr Saumar Jyoti Mahanta, Principal of Sibsagar Commerce College. Renowned social activist, writer and educationist Suresh Saikia, attending the programme as chief guest, delivered a valuable lecture to motivate the students with various issues of career prospects, mind determination and opportunities.

A poster competition on 'Glorious history of India' was also organized by NSS Unit and prize money was awarded to the participants by the Principal and Management Department. Upasana Bhuyan secured the first prize while Sanjana Devi got second prize and Rajashree Hazarika got the third prize.
