Bajali police arrested 7 for gambling in Kayastha Para, Pathsala

PATHSALA: In a drive against gambling, police in Bajali recently conducted a successful operation to crackdown on illegal gambling in Kayastha Para in Pathsala under lower Assam’s Bajali. As per reports, Police have arrested seven people for involvement in gambling. The arrested persons have been identified as Anup Choudhury, aged (45), Chabi Ranjan Kakati (48), Dilip Brahma (45), Dipjyoti Sarma (40), Raju Das (20), Nipen Das (35), Gagan Kakati (38). The reports stated that the accused were caught red-handed by the police where they recovered more than one lakh cash from their possession and also seized their vehicles.
