Tamulpur: An awareness programme was conducted by Ranjan Sarma, Deputy Commissioner of Baksa district, in cooperation with Hemchandra Pathak, District Information and Public Relation Officer, Baksa. A team led by the Deputy Commissioner of Baksa moved from door-to-door to make people understand and aware about the deadly coronavirus. The Baksa district administration also appealed to the public using mike system to quarantine people in their houses.
Talking to mediapersons, Ranjan Sarma said that five task forces had been formed for five circle offices of the district to tackle the situation. On Wednesday, Ranjan Sarma visited Doomani Tea Garden Hospital and reviewed the measures taken by the hospital to deal with coronavirus cases.
