Baksa PHE Department organized training on social distancing

GORESWAR: A one-day long training programme for Swachhgrahis was organized by Baksa PHE Department maintaining social distancing at Tamulpur civil SDO office on Wednesday in Baksa district.

Tamulpur SDO (C) Sujit Baglari gave the welcome address while Detsung Basumatry, District Human Resource Development consultant, presided over the programme. Rajkumar Deka, Technical Officer of PHED, explained the aims and objectives of the programme. In his speech, he said that the training was held on Open Defecation Free (ODF) Plus and protocol of COVID-19. Niranjan Deka, Goreswar block BRC, spoke about solid and liquid waste management (SLWM) and explained about COVID-19 protocol. Bandana Sarma, district associate, explained baseline assessment planning and data collection methodology.
