Bamboo bridge inaugurated on PWD connecting road at Tengaguri

MORIGAON: With donations from local businessmen, political persons of the greater Bhuragaon area, the inhabitants of Tengaguri built a bamboo bridge on the PWD road connecting Nagaon to Bhuragaon at Tengaguri under Laharighat constituency.

The foundation stone of the bridge had been laid by then minister Dr. Najrul Islam and the contract of bridge was allotted to one local contractor Nipun Bora in 2013. However, since then the bridge has been lying without construction at Tengaguri's Dungajan area. Today people completed construction of a bamboo bridge and inaugurated it.
