Bank of Baroda (BOB) branch opened in Goalpara College

GOALPARA: The Goalpara College authorities on Friday took pride when the first bank branch was opened inside its campus which is being regarded as the first bank inside any educational institutions in the district. The Bank of Baroda (BOB) with all its up-to-date bank facilities has opened this branch.

On this auspicious occasion, principal Dr. Subhash Barman, Deputy Commissioner Khanindra Choudhury and Kolkata zonal head of BOB, Debabrata Das shared the dias and each congratulated about three thousand students and their guardians of this pioneer educational institution in Lower Assam.

Khanindra Choudhury opined that the inauguration of a bank branch inside the campus will solve the long pending problems of the students and they will be easily acquainted with the digital transactions.

“We are striving to provide all the facilities inside our campus a modern institution should have and we are thankful to the Goalpara district administration and specially the DC for his continuous support,” said Dr. Barman. The Goalpara College, besides arranging hundreds of online and offline seminars throughout the year, has successfully arranged recently the G-20, India’s leadership celebration events.
