Bar Council Of India Along With Dhubri Advocates Threaten Agitation

Dhubri: Advocates of Dhubri, along with the Bar Council of India, will be forced to take up agitation programmes over non-fulfilment of their long-standing demands. This was stated in a press release issued by Dhubri Bar Association.

President of Dhubri Bar Association, Aminur Rahman, in a meeting at the conference hall of the association on Saturday, read out the long-standing demands of the association such as insurance cover for lawyers and their families. Their demands also include stipends for the junior advocates, financial protection for advocates and scheme to acquire land at cheaper rates for housing.
