Barry O’Brien to conduct a quiz at Tezpur University

Tezpur: Tezpur University will organize ‘ProGyaN 2.0, the manifest’, the second edition of debate and quiz festival from February 29 to March 1.

Supported by the petroleum exploration giant of Assam, Oil India Limited, ‘ProGyaN 2.0, the manifest’ will have Swachh Bharat as its core theme, coinciding with 150 years of the Mahatma. The events – focussed at providing a professional edge to the knowledge base of our young generation – will end on March 1 with an open quiz to be conducted by India’s ace quizmaster, Barry O’Brien.

The festival kick-started on February 29 with an inter-institutional debate on the topic ‘Gandhiji’s Ramrajya can be accomplished through Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’. Two-member teams from intending institutions may join the debate which is to be addressed in either Assamese or English. On March 1, the inter-school quiz will be held from 10 am with a grand closing in the evening featuring the open quiz with Barry O’Brien as a quizmaster.
