Baykho Puja celebrated at Jamuguri in Tamulpur district

TAMULPUR: The fifth annual Baykho Puja was celebrated with a day-long programme at Jamuguri in Tamulpur district. The puja programme started at 7 am on Tuesday. The religious flag was hoisted by the Celebration Committee President Labhiram Ravai.

Saplings were planted at 8 am. The religious seminar was held at 10am under the supervision of Madhab Chandra Rabha. The seminar was inaugurated by Undivided Baksa District Rabha Sahitya Sabha president Suren Rabha. Rabha Kristi was displayed from 3 pm. The cultural programme was inaugurated by MCLA Bijit Gaura Narjary. The programme concluded with candle lighting ceremony.
