BCPL donates Rs 10,19,499 to Chief Minister's Relief Fund

DIBRUGARH: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) has donated a sum of Rs 10,19,499- to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund in the ongoing fight against COVID-19. BCPL Managing Director Reep Hazarika handed over the cheque to Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Saturday in the presence of senior officials of BCPL. BCPL employees have voluntarily contributed their one day's salary and have taken this humble step to join all Indians in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic. The employees had earlier also contributed an amount of Rs 10 lakh to Assam Arogya Nidhi towards the cause. In addition to this, the BCPL also contributed Rs 20 lakh to PM Cares Fund in the wake of the pandemic.
