Bhagawat path organized at Padmapur Namghar in Kusumtola

JAMUGURIHAT: Bhagawat path programme was organized at Padmapur Namghar premises by Jamugurihat regional committee of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardev Nam Dharma Samaj in collaboration with Padmapur Gaon Unnayan Committee, Kusumtola on Sunday. The day-long programme began with hoisting of the institutional flag by Bhola Gohain, president of Padmapur Gaon Unnayan Committee followed by a Naam Prasanga. Jiten Ojha from Bahboriya, Jamugurihat read out the Bhagawat while Nripen Saikia, assistant professor of Economics of Sootea College analyzed the Bhagawat. Before the Bhagawat explanation, a felicitation programme was organized wherein the meritorious students from greater Padmapur area who have passed out HSLC, HS examination with flying colours and achievers of Chief Minister's scholarship were felicitated. The proceedings of the felicitation programme were conducted by senior member Biren Kumar Nath.
