LAKHIMPUR: The six-day long training programme of the Bharat Scout Master and Guide Captain culminated in Dhakuakhana of Lakhimpur district on Friday. The event was organized at Dhakuakhana Normal School premises under the auspices of the Assam State body of Bharat Scout and Guide in association with its Dhakuakhana district unit. Attending the programme, LOC of Bharat Scout and Guide, Assam State body Ajit Prasad, Nirala Rajbonshi, retired Training Director Kumud Sarmah, trainers Swarnalata Borah, Nara Pator, Swarnalata Bhuyan, district organizer Kiran Chamuah, Quarter Masters Pradip Burhagohain and Golap Das conducted training to the scout masters and guide captains.
he convocation of the training programme on Friday began with Jhanda Geet and pledge of the scout and guide. In the convocation, badges and scarves were presented to the scout masters and guide captains, who successfully completed the training. Lakhimpur District Inspector of Schools Hemchandra Saikia, Lakhimpur district unit Scout and Guide vice-president Upen Saikia, secretary Putul Saikia, joint secretary Hemchandra Mili, Dhakuakhana Normal School Principal Lakhi Konwar attended the open session organized in connection with the convocation of the training programme.
