Bharatiya Janata Party conducts bike rally in Laharighat

MORIGAON: In order to root out the Congress from the Laharighat constituency, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by its president Ranjit Das held a meeting at Laharighat block's ground on Tuesday. BJP president Ranjit Das was welcomed by more than 3,000 party workers and supporters with a bike rally at Nagabandha, Laharighat. The rally started from Nagabandha and reached Laharighat block's ground. Addressing the gathering, Das said that the people of Laharighat area were suffering due to poor condition of roads. He said that they should vote to bring sea change in the flood and erosion-affected areas. The meeting was also attended by MLA Ramakanta Deuri and other leaders.
