Bharatiya Janata Party sounds poll bugle

KALAIGAON: Addressing a mass rally at Kalaigaon on Friday to kick-start the BJP's campaign for the BTC election, State Finance and Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma slammed the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) for allegedly not being able to solve the burning problems of BTC despite having been in power for the past 15 years. "If the people will vote for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form the next government in BTC, then the BJP will fulfill the demands of the people. Permanent patta will be provided to land holder," he said. According to the minister, the BJP will form the government in BTC within December 15. This mass rally was organized by Kalaigaon Mandal BJP for DigantaBarua, the BJP candidate from Mudaibari Territorial constituency.
