Bhuyan Supa of Karipara Village in Baksa district declared Containment Zone

GORESWAR: 'Bhuyan Supa' of Karipara Village — under the Goreswar Revenue Circle in the district of Baksa — has been declared a 'Containment Zone' on Wednesday. This has been declared by Goreswar Circle Officer Kukila Gogoi.

In this regard, a banner announcing the 'Containment Zone' has been put up at the entrance of the area. It may be mentioned here that COVID-positive cases have been increasing on a daily basis in and around Goreswar.

The Circle Officer further informed The Sentinel, The number of COVID-19 patients has increased surprisingly in the area. Altogether 16 Corona-positive cases were registered in the habitation within the last 10 days."

Gogoi also informed that steps have been taken to distribute relief materials for the residents of the area and the process will commence soon.
