Biennial conference of Doyang Xakha Xahitya Xabha concludes at Merapani

MERAPANI: The fifth biennial conference of Doyang Xakha Xahitya Xabha concluded on Monday at the Dharmeswar Bora Samanaya Khetra of Doyang High School in Merapani subdivision. Durlobh Bori, the president of the Doyang Xakha Xahitya Xabha, hoisted the flag in the morning. In his speech, he lamented the negligent attitude of Assamese youths towards their language. This was followed by Smriti tarpan, sapling plantation, literary competitions, and open meet.
