Bilasipara Haj committee gives send-off to pilgrims

BILASIPARA: Altogether 156 Haj pilgrims, including 51 female pilgrims, were given a send-off on Thursday by the Bilasipara Haj Committee.

In this connection, a send-off meeting was held in the Bilasipara Jame Masjid with Manoranjan Payeng, ADC- cum-i/c SDO(Civil), Bilasipara in the chair. Among others, the meeting was addressed by Abdul Matin, president of Bilasipara Haj Committee; Hafiz Basir Ahmed, MLA, Bilasipara West LAC, Mufti Yeah Hiya, Dayal Paul, senior journalist, and Narendra Sethia, secretary, Bilasipara Marowari Association.
