Biswanath Tax Professionals Association support Bharat Byapar bandh

BISWANATH CHARIALI: Biswanath Tax Professionals Association, Biswanath Chariali, Assam has extended its support to the Bharat Byapar bandh on February 26 against the 'draconian' measures of GST, which is ruthless and creating excessive mess in the indirect taxation system leading to huge payment of forced taxes, penalties and late fees.

The association alleged that though claims were made that taxation had been simplified and doing business easily has been promoted, yet in the practical field the exact opposite was happening and GST had become a nightmare for all traders and tax professionals.
