BJP-AGP alliance candidate Gunindra Nath Das files nomination for 43 Barpeta LAC

BARPETA: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)- Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) alliance candidate Gunindra Nath Das filed nomination for 43 Barpeta LAC on Wednesday.

Gunindra Nath Das expressed confidence of winning from Barpeta LAC once again. Thousands of people gathered while he was going to file the nomination. AGP leader and minister Phani Bhushan Choudhury said that as in 2016, this time also the BJP-AGP alliance would win the assembly election. Meanwhile, Congress alliance CPI (M) candidate Manoranjan Talukdar filed nominations for no. 40 Sarbhog LAC. On Tuesday, four candidates filed their nomination. Earlier, one candidate had filed nomination in Barpeta district.

On the other hand, Rabiul Hussain, AGP candidate, and Nurul Amin, Independent candidate, filed nomination for 47 Chenga LAC. Binad Ali, Independent candidate, filed nominations on Wednesday for 46 Sarukshetri LAC. All total 10 candidates have filed nominations till now.
