BJP Kishan Morcha Opened Help Desk for COVID Patients in Dhubri

DHUBRI: With a pledge of 'Seva Hi Sangathan', Dhubri district unit of BJP Kishan Morcha opened a help desk for COVID-19 patients in Dhubri recently. This help desk is being officiated from the Silver Square building located on RK Bose Road of Dhubri round-the-clock.

Any person suffering from COVID-19 and staying in home isolation can contact the help desk for medical care, food, counseling and other related needs, including oxygen cylinder. President of Dhubri district unit of Bharatiya Kishan Morcha, Amit Dhanawat said that they had dedicated members working on the help desk and collecting information about COVID-19 positive patients in distress.

"We are also being contacted in our Help-Desk numbers uploaded on social media for help and assistance during this pandemic. We are also appealing to people in general not to get scared and not to panic but to just give a call in the help desk numbers and we will be right there with all sorts of help," Dhanawat added. Dhanawat informed that the Help-Desk was formed and made functional under guidance and supervision of president of Dhubri district unit BJP, Dr. Debamoy Sanyal, who is a senior practicing physician. BJP Kishan Morcha Help-Desk now provides oxygen cylinders, food packets, medicines, masks and sanitizer bottles to COVID positive patients, ambulance, and also sanitizes homes and areas of containment zones in collaboration with Dhubri Municipal Board.
