BJP membership drive in West Karbi Anglong with ‘Mission 100’ seats in 2021 assembly election

Donkamukam: The ruling BJP party, with its ‘Mission 100’ seats in the 2021 assembly election, has intensified membership drive in almost all assembly segments of the State.

In the districts of East and West Karbi Anglong, the membership drive has picked up the pace. On Sunday a programme was held at Tumpreng under No. 6 Bithung Rengthama MAC constituency in West Karbi Anglong. KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang, while attending the meet as chief guest, said, “We are with the world’s largest political organization and I am proud of it. This has become possible only because of the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. My MAC constituency –No. 6 Bithung Rengthama constituency- has a little over 33,000 voters and our target till August 11 is 26,000 BJP membership.”

The meeting was also attended by local MLA Dr Mansing Rongpi, EM MS Timung and BJP West Karbi Anglong president Arun Terang. In the meeting, Tuliram Ronghang enrolled himself as primary BJP member and at the same time he also ceremoniously distributed MGNREGA cards (job cards) to the beneficiaries.
