BJP State president Bhabesh Kalita visits Chhaygaon

PALASBARI: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State president Bhabesh Kalita visited Chhaygaon on Tuesday. At first he visited the historic Chandika Temple with party workers. Since it was the birthday of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, the BJP State president also offered prayers for his long life. Regarding the Union Budget, he opined that it was a visionary one and it would help every section of the people.

Later, he participated at a party workers' meeting and held discussions on a wide range of issues related to the strengthening of the party's organizational structure in the Chhaygaon constituency. He emphasized various developmental programmes taken up by the BJP-led government in the State. The meeting was also attended by Hemanga Thakuria, MLA of Palasbari constituency, and other leaders.
