Bodies of 2 teenaged boys recovered in Doomdooma

TINSUKIA: Recovery of 2 teenaged boys on Friday buried under the river soil has cast a pall of gloom in Phatikjan near Doomdooma who were reportedly gone missing since Thursday. They were students of class IV and identified as Rahul Munda and Biraj Munda, both aged 10 years. After search operation went futile on Thursday, one of their peers reported that they were seen playing in Doomdooma River during day time. The family members then located the bodies on Friday buried under river soil which perhaps got eroded from the river bank and fell on them. Doomdooma police later retrieved the bodies and sent them for postmortem examination at Tinsukia.
