Body recovered from drain in front of Kendriya Vidyalaya in Bongaigaon

Bongaigaon: A body was recovered from drain in front of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bongaigaon on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Uttam DebRay (42), a resident of Bhakarivita area of Bongaigaon. He was a cook (casual) at New Bongaigaon Loco Running Room and had night duty on Thursday night. But he did not come for duty and his body was found on Friday.

Jamugurihat: A tractor driver, Biju Orang (30) of Bogoribasti, along with the tractor, was swept away by flood water of Dekorai River near Jamugurihat on July 13. The local people recovered the tractor from the river that day but the driver was untraceable. His body was recovered on Thursday by local people.
