Body recovered in Tamulpur district

TAMULPUR: Sensation prevailed while an unidentified body was recovered along a bank of the river Barnadi in Pub Goybari under Nagrijuli police station in Tamulpur district on Saturday. This morning some local people found a body lying on the ground on the river bank and informed the Nagrijuli Police Outpost about the unidentified body. A police team led by Maidul Islam, in-charge of the outpost rushed to the spot and recovered the body of a man aged about 55 years. The body was sent to Mushalpur for post-mortem.

Police said that the body of the unidentified man, who was wearing a blue T-shirt and green towel (gamosha), will be kept in the mortuary for 72 hours for identification at the end of post-mortem.
