Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project Unit -III Becomes Operational

Kokrajhar: The Unit -III of Bongaigaon Thermal Power Project (BgTPP), which achieved its full load on February, completed its 72 hours trial operation successfully on Thursday. This was informed by the Assistant Publicity Officer, Priyanka Bhuyan.

The unit was synchronized on January 2, 2019. This is the first time in the history of NTPC for the start of trial operation after one day of achieving first full load and 39 days after first synchronization.

In another landmark, this is the first time that the station also achieved full load of 750MW. BUH OK Murukadas, GM (O&M) Rakesh Kumar, GM (FM) T. Ravinder, GM (Operation) Ramakant Panda, GM (ME) SK Chowdhury and AGM (PP&M) Anupam Mukherjee were also present on the occasion.
