Books written by Atul Bordoloi released in Tinsukia district

TINSUKIA: In an intellectual gathering of poet, litterateur, dramatist and critic, three books written by Atul Bordoloi were released which were inaugurated in an unconventional way simultaneously by 6 eminent scholars of Tinsukia at College Road Puja Mandir premises on Friday. Books published by Rekha Prakashan Parbotia Tinsukia are, Tumar Maat- a collection of poems in Assamese, Xundoror Xupane Xupane, a collection of articles on cultural activities of Tinsukia and Xirolu, a collection essays in Assamese. Bordoloi, a former teacher of Senairam HS School Tinsukia is associated with various literary and socio-cultural organisations in Tinsukia district. The book release programme was moderated by Sarat Chandra Siring Phukan. The distinguished personalities who released the books were Dr Madan Sarma, Nani Bordoloi, Punya Saikia, Purnananda Baruah, Himen Bhattacharjee and Atul Chandra Sarma.
