Bordumsa police arrested 6 Youths for preparing to join ULFA

DIGBOI: Six youths hailing from Ritu Kathalguri, Kujupather and Miholiritu areas of Bordumsa were arrested by the Bordumsa police station in Tinsukia. According to police sources, the youths were preparing to join the ULFA. “The youths were planning to leave and join the proscribed outfit in January,” said a police official.

Ironically, all the youths who were under 18 years of age, were arrested from their respective residences in Tinsukia district bordering Arunachal Pradesh. Based on a suo motto case (78/19) registered u/s 13 UP Act, the arrested youths were produced before the Juvenile Justice Board in Tinsukia.
