DHEKIAJULI: Borsola MLA Ganesh Limbu on Sunday met Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal at his Dispur office and submitted a memorandum containing a charter of demands and explained the details of the August 5 incident of Garuduba.

Borsola MLA Ganesh Limbu told this correspondent that he requested the Chief Minister to take immediate action against the culprits involved in the August 5 incident at Garuduba. Some of the major demands which he placed before the Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal were to establish a police outpost at Garuduba, to take immediate action for eviction of the illegal migrants from Garuduba and to promote Borsola outpost into a full-fledged police station. Limbu said that for the development of the Haragouri Devalaya, the government had already sanctioned an amount of Rs 10 lakh.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal assured the Borsola MLA that immediate action would be taken on all his demands.
