BPF is a party with vision of development and peace, says Jagadish Sarkar

TANGLA: Former Executive Member of BTC and BPF candidate Jagadish Sarkar stressed the vision of the Bodoland People's Front (BPF) and said that BPF was a party with vision and preached brotherhood with the sole aim of progressive development, which was built on the trust and faith of the people of the Bodo belt.

Addressing a party event at Tangla town in Udalguri district on Sunday, he said that the false promises and mud-slinging politics of opposition parties were temporal and would fade away after elections and the BPF was confident of securing absolute majority in the BTC polls as there had been rapid development during the tenure of the party and every community had witnessed the vision of BPF which had followed the clauses of the BTC Accord of 2003 in letter and spirit.

"We firmly believe that BPF as a party has provided social and economic security to every strata of the society and people will give a befitting reply to the false promises of the opposition parties in the forthcoming polls," he added. In the event, more than 200 people joined the party.
