DIBRUGARH: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) Management , at a function held its guest house on Monday felicitated the winner of Master Chef India Season 7 Nayanjyoti Saikia.
Nayanjyoti Saikia emerged as the winner of the 13-week-long competition Master Chef India, sponsored by Sony TV. Saikia’s win is significant not only for himself but also for the Northeast region. By showcasing its unique cuisine, Saikia has put the region on the culinary map and given a platform to its undiscovered delicacies. “His success is sure to inspire many aspiring chefs from the region to follow their dreams and put Northeast cuisine on the world stage,” said BCPL Managing Director, Reep Hazarika who chaired the function. Senior officials of BCPL, employees and their family members were also present during the occasion.
During the interaction, Nayanjyoti Saikia shared his journey and his passion. He also shared his plans to open his own restaurant and showcase the exquisite cuisines of Northeast to the world.
