Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited Celebrates Van Mahotsav in Dibrugarh

DIBRUGARH: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) celebrated Van Mahotsav while adhering to all COVID protocol.

The primary objective of this programme is to spread awareness about forest conservation and to protect the environment. Van Mahotsav is celebrated with an aim to encourage people to plant trees and create more forests in the country. This year, an initiative undertaken by BCPL was forestation in association with District Forest Division. BCPL carried out a plantation drive on Tuesday in association with the District Forest Division. On this occasion, Reep Hazarika Managing Director, BCPL, along with senior officials took part in the plantation drive. Golap Kumar Boniya, Assistant Conservator of Forest, was present along with his team from the district forest office.
