BSF organizes cycle rally under “Mission lifestyle for environment (Life)”

GUWAHATI: In the series of events to be undertaken to mark upcoming World Environment Day-2023, BSF Guwahati Frontier organized a cycle rally under the “Mission lifestyle for environment (Life)” to enhance the awareness about protection of environment. On Thursday, a cycle rally was flagged off by Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General, BSF, Guwahati Frontier from BSF, Patgaon campus and after covering distance of 10 Kms via Accoland- Rani road, it concluded at BSF campus. About 210 officers, subordinate officers and bordermen of Frontier Headquarters BSF Guwahati, 1st Bn National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), BSF Air Wing and Composite Hospital Patgaon participated in the cycle rally enthusiastically.

During addressed to the gathering, Dinesh Kumar Yadav, IPS, Inspector General Guwahati Frontier stated that Mission “Life style for environment (Life)” is an initiative of the Government of India for environmental protection. He appealed to everyone to take responsibility keeping the environmental changes in mind, stated a press release.
