BAKSA: BTC Administrator Rajesh Prasad visited Odalguri erosion spot caused by Beki River under Jalah revenue circle on Monday evening. There he also interacted with the affected people. He ordered the Executive Engineer to take temporary measures like use of porcupine and geo bags. He also asked the engineers to prepare DPR for permanent solution of the erosion problem. Then he visited the Odalbari LP School relief camp where hundreds of flood-affected people had taken shelter. He also inspected the erosion of the same river near Narayanguri where he emphasized coming up with a permanent solution to the problem. He asked the engineer to make a detail project report for this. The Administrator was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner of Baksa, Ranjan Sharma, Superintendent of Police of Baksa, Prateek Thube and other senior officials.
