BTC Chief Pramod Boro launches online grievance redressal system in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: With the aim and objective of digitizing the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), a web portal for online grievance redressal system was launched by BTC chief executive member Pramod Boro at BTC Secretariat in Kokrajhar on Friday. The web portal will be available in English, Bodo, Assamese and Hindi.
The BTC Chief Executive Member also distributed portfolios to the newly-elected council executive members. Deputy chief Gobindo Basumatary has been allotted the Panchayat and Rural Development and Small-scale industry. Ranjit Basumatary, EM, has been allotted the forest department. EM Ukil Basumatary has been allotted the Water Resource department, Arup Kumar Dey-Health and Family Welfare, Diganta Barua- Irrigation, Ghanashyam Das has been given Agriculture, Ranendra Narzary- Transport while Goutam Das has been allocated the Social Welfare department.
Wishing the people on the occasion of the English New Year, the BTC chief said that his government was committed to work for the welfare and all-round development of the people. Boro said community happiness would be the top priority of his council. He called upon his executive members and officials to be punctual while discharging duties and responsibilities.
Boro said his government would set up ten institutions in BTC region for college dropout students to get trained in skill development. He also said that the government would hold discussion with all student organizations regarding their problems very soon.
