BAKSA: BTC chief Pramod Boro on Saturday visited Kumarikata State Dispensary under Tamulpur subdivision in the district of Baksa. BTC Chief Pramod Boro reached the hospital early this morning and reviewed various aspects including the hospital's infrastructure. He interacted with the medical employees of the hospital. BTC chief Boro was accompanied by MCLA Bijit Gaura Narzary and Hemanta Kumar Rabha along with many party leaders. In an exclusive interaction with reporters, the BTC chief Boro said that many developments will take place in the Kumarikata State Dispensary where 90,000 people live in the area. He said various problems in the hospital would be solved.
The Kumarikata State Dispensary will soon be upgraded to 30-bedded hospital. The BTC chief also assured that an ambulance will be given to the hospital soon after taking into account the hospital's structure and clean drinking water will be provided. Replying to a question on BTC teachers appointed in 1999, Boro said that the problem of teachers appointed in 1999 is a very old problem. A committee has already been constituted to.solve this problem. Replying to another question regarding by-elections, he said, "Elections will come and go. There is nothing much to worry about. We are now thinking of resolving unemployment problems."
