BTC Chief Pramod Boro welcomes formation of Tamulpur as a new district

BAKSA: BTC Chief Pramod Boro has welcomed the proposal to form Tamulpur as a new district in the budget session of the Assam Assembly on Friday. BTC chief Pramod Boro arrived at his home constituency at Tamulpur after placing the bill in the first budget session of the State Assembly by Finance Minister Ajanta Neog proposing Tamulpur as the fifth district of BTR. The jubilant leader thanked Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through the media for the decision of the State cabinet that would ensure the all-around development of Tamulpur.

Pramod Boro expressed hope that Tamulpur will be modified as one of the most vibrant and attractive districts of Assam. It is noteworthy that jubilant scenes were seen on the streets of Tamulpur with the lighting of lamps and the bursting of crackers by the citizens.
