BTC declares public holiday on January 27

KOKRAJHAR: The Principal Secretary of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) administration on Thursday declared public holiday on January 27 in view of celebration of the 1st Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) accord at the designated parade ground, DC office complex, Udalguri. As per public notification, all the government and non-government offices and educational institutions of four BTC districts-Kokrajhar, Chirang, Baksa and Udalguri -will remain closed on that day for public participation in the grand celebration of BTR accord day.
