BTC deputy chief Gobinda Basumatary distributed masks and sanitizers in Udalguri

UDALGURI: BTC deputy chief and Udalguri MLA Gobinda Basumatary visited Udalguri Jail and took stock of the COVID on Wednesday. He was accompanied by Puspadhar Sarma, the Principal of Udalguri H S School, and also the member of Jail Management Committee along with Sandeep Chamaria, advocate of Gauhati High Court.

Gobinda Basumatary discussed the problems of the jailed inmates during the COVID situation. He talked to Uzzal Goswami, the Jail Superintendent, and also distributed masks and sanitizers to the jail inmates. He also assured to provide help to maintain the jail in this critical situation. There are 181 male and 5 female inmates in the jail at present.
