Bye-election: Two candidates file nomination for Thowra constituency

DEMOW: The bye-election in the five constituencies will be held on October 30, 2021 and on Thursday, Krishna Gogoi, Communist Party of India (CPI) candidate for Thowra constituency.

CPI party workers took out a rally when Krishna Gogoi went to file his nomination papers. On the other hand, Dhaijya Konwar, Raijor Dal candidate for Thowra constituency, also filed his nomination in Sivasagar on Thursday. Dhaijya Konwar was accompanied by Akhil Gogoi, MLA of Sivasagar constituency as well as president of Raijor Dal, along with his supporters.
