Cachar Lower Primary schools both government & non government closed till May 8

SILCHAR: In pursuance of the order issued by the Commissioner & Secretary, Education Department, Dispur, all LP (Lower Primary) schools up to Class-V as well as the pre-primary schools — both government and non government — in Cachar District will remain closed up to May 8, 2021, or until further orders. The notification to this effect under Section 34 of the 'Disaster Management Act-2005' was issued by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairperson, DDMA (District Disaster Management Authority), Cachar, Keerthi Jalli, on Sunday.
