Captain Debanga Bhushan Das honoured on the occasion of Independence Day in Barpeta

BARPETA: Captain Debanga Bhushan Das of 25 Rajputana Rifles was honoured by high-ranking officials of the Army on the occasion of the 75th Independence Day for his brave service in the border areas.

He is the son of Dilip Kumar Das, Prof of English in Madhab Choudhury College, Barpeta and Krishna Das, Prof of Economics in the same college. Captain Debanga studied in Dehradun Army Academy and later he joined the Indian Army. His elder brother Siddhartha Das is also an Army officer.
