Career counseling seminar held in Tinsukia district

JAGUN: The Lekhapani Battalion under the aegis of Red Shield Division organized a career counseling seminar for students of various villages like Hasak, Tipong and Jagun under the Margherita subdivision in Tinsukia district on how to join the armed forces.

A total of 540 students of the 15 different schools attended the seminar. The event was organized with an aim to motivate the youth towards joining Indian Army as officers, wherein they were guided about the various entry schemes through which they can do the same. They were informed about the eligibility criteria and scope. The Indian Army has promised all assistance to the students in their preparation for these examinations. The initiative taken by the Indian Army was highly appreciated by the local populace.
