Career counselling programme conducted at auditorium of ONGC Colony, Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: Under the initiative of Sivasagar Police, a career awareness programme for the students who could not perform well in high school and higher secondary final examinations and passed out in third division, was held at the auditorium of ONGC Colony, Sivasagar on Monday. More than 200 students participated in the awareness programme.

Attending the event as chief guest, Director General of Police, Assam, Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta said, "I was not so sharp when I was young. I was bad at the initial stage of my learning." Encouraging students, DGP Mahanta said, "A bad result in an examination cannot end one's life. Life is just beginning, there is nothing to think about."
