Case registered against Govt doctor & Pinnacle Diagnostics laboratory

BISWANATH CHARIALI: A suo-moto case was registered by Biswanath police on Tuesday against Dr Gunjan Pathak, owner of Pinnacle Diagnostics, a private laboratory, here, who is also a government physician, and against the employees of the laboratory.

The case was registered with Biswanath Chariali Police Station bearing no 193/2020 under Sections 188/269/270/34 of Indian Penal Code and R / w section 51 (b) of Disastar Management Act and Section 3 of Epidemic Disease Act. RP Plaza Complex where the laboratory is located was declared a COVID-19 containment zone in Biswanath Chariali, but the laboratory was allegedly being run in violation of the law.
