Change of Command in Air Force Station Jorhat

TEZPUR: Air Commodore Bhuvan Mathur VM took over command of Air Force Station Jorhat, a premier transport airbase in the Eastern sector of India from Air Commodore Manoj Kumar Jha on Monday. Air Commodore Bhuvan Mathur is an experienced and qualified pilot having more than 7500 hours of accident/incident free flying to his credit on various types of transport aircraft.

He is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy and a graduate of the prestigious College of Air Warfare. He is married to Ruchi Mathur who took over the responsibilities of the president of Air Force Wives Welfare Association (Local) from Prarthana Jha.
