Chief Minister of Assam's New Year gift to mediapersons

TINSUKIA: Altogether 57 recognized media persons of Tinsukia district were presented the Chief Minister of Assam's New Year gift on Tuesday at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office, Tinsukia in a solemn function chaired by District Development Commissioner (DDC), Pronabjit Kakoti.

At the outset of the programme, Bhaskar Jyoti Borah, Assistant Commissioner and in-charge District Information and Public Relation Officer explained the objectives of the programme. In his speech, DDC Pronabjit Kakoti appreciated the role played by the media persons of the district during the pandemic period. On behalf of the media persons, journalists Bikash Moran, Ranjit Dutta, Kamal Talukder, Md. Hussain Khan and Rajesh Upadhyay expressed their gratitude for the gesture shown by the Chief Minister.
