Chief Minister’s Vigilance cell raided College principal’s house in South Salmara-Mancachar

DHUBRI: A team of five officials from Chief Minister’s Vigilance cell raided the house of Principal of Hamidabad College, Satsia under Jamadarhat Block of South Salmara-Mancachar district recently. A source in the college said that officials of CM vigilance cell interrogated the Principal of the college, Sahadat Ali for hours and seized bundles of paper, files and other materials. The Principal of the college couldn’t be contacted but a source said that CM vigilance team acted on the basis of a complaint against some irregularities in the college.
